1. 1.Why did the city name change when upgrading from iTimeZone 1.0 to 1.1?

The source of the city names and the number increased greatly in iTimeZone 1.1. Some of the 1.0 names didn’t match, even though they are the same place.

3. 3.Why can’t iTimeZone 1.1 find my top city after upgrading from 1.0?

When the iPhone is set to automatically set time, the time zone reported to iTimeZone does not include a city, so users get to pick. It’s almost a hidden feature.

5. 5.How do you determine when to show the sun or moon icons?

6 AM - 5:59 PM is the sun

6 PM - 5:59 AM is the moon

4. 4.Why when searching for Mumbai, India is Bombay, India seen instead?

Many cities throughout the world have multiple names. iTimeZone 1.1 searches all names it knows of, but can only show the default name it has on file for that city.

6. 6.Does iTimeZone support 24-Hour Time?

Yes. It uses the the iPhone or iPod touch 24-Hour Time setting. To turn it on, go to the iPhone or iPod touch Settings -> General -> Date & Time.

2. 2.How do I change the top city in iTimeZone 1.1?
   

3. There is no way inside iTimeZone 1.1 to change the top city. This is a feature being worked on aggressively for 1.2. In the meantime, you can follow these steps if you need to change the top city:
   

1. 1.Hold the iTimeZone icon on the iPhone/iPod touch home screen until you see the X on the icon.
   

2. 2.Tap the X on the iTimeZone icon
   

3. 3.Click Delete when asked if you really want to delete.
   

4. 4.To reinstall iTimeZone you have two options:
   

1. 1.Sync your device with iTunes (this assumes you already had synced with iTunes to put iTimeZone on your computer in the first place)
   

2. 2.On the iPhone/iPod touch, go to the App Store icon and tap it:
   

1. 1.Tap the Search button.
   

2. 2.Click in the text box at the top, then type itimezone
   

3. 3.Tap on iTimeZone in the list.
   

4. 4.Tap the $1.99 icon. DO NOT WORRY, YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED AGAIN
   

5. 5.Tap Buy Now.
   

6. 6.Enter your password and click OK.
   

7. 7.iTimeZone will install on your device and you can now pick a new top city.
